Criterium Booster Workout
This workout helps to increase lactate clearing with accelerations, assist in holding power for a longer period of time, and improves cadence efficiency
Workout Description
- Today focusing on pedaling, cadence, and tempo.
• 2 x 20 min targeting tempo on flats each 3:45min do 15s high cadence acceleration over your threshold +115-130RPM
• after the workouts, include 4x 15s sprint at highest cadence you can achieve
- rest of the ride just endurance pace
NOTE: Make sure you set up your correct threshold power and/or maximum heart rate.
