TT Time Trial Workout
This workout helps to improve your threshold power, and smooth pacing
TT Workout Description
- Today's goal is to improve your overall threshold power, while maintaining a consistent pacing
• 20min endurance easier on-road bike or TT bike
• TT Warm-Up Protocol, following 5 min super easy pace recovery
• 2x 20min individual TT effort at 95% of your max effort. First 2min at 90%.
- Find a flat and consistent segment without lights. Focus on delivering constant power. - Tips for TT performance:
- few mins before the start, do a breathing exercise. breath profoundly and fast for about 1 min to warm up your lungs and get more oxygen into your body
- take a banana or bar 30 min prior to start
- take a gel 5 min prior to the start
NOTE: Make sure you set up your correct threshold power and/or maximum heart rate.
